Tulip was hand picked by Ebony out of all the Fae that live in the Viridian Labyrinth to be a Lady of the court and future heir to the clan. It had been decided that since the move that a new leader take over the clan. It had also been decided that the new leader be one with nature and know the terrain well if they were to survive. Tulip was selected even above Ostara and Beltane, who were dubbed the children of Ebony and Obsidian. This little Fae is in for daily training and a royal routine that will have her prepped and ready to lead in no time at all.

One day while training with Ebony, Tulip found a cave within some ruins of the grove. Inside this cave were all sorts of stones and gems as well as a fountain that was encrusted with these gems and stones. The water gave off a array of colors and being very thirsty after their hike, Tulip decided that she would take a drink from the fountain. Nothing seemed too off by it at first, but then suddenly she started to change. Tulip was no longer the Fae she was born as but now a Pearlcatcher with beautiful markings. It was in this very cave she met her mate Snapdragon, who was once a former Mirror and now a Pearlcatcher like herself.

The book she carries at her side has a list of every dragon that lives in the clan. Whereas the book of elders has the name of every dragon that has been in the clan
