Othin, King before Frost and after Rathan, only held his role for a short time but it was probably the most challenged of all the leaders. When the lair used to reside in the Nature Domain, the clan began to slowly tear apart as more and more nature dragons moved out and dragons from other flights moved in. Chaos was begging to break out as rivaliries started, dragons who were once friends quarreled over food and nesting grounds and before long many of the newcommers threatened to revolt against King Rathan and Queen Padura.

It was Othin who spoke up to Rathan and Padura, begging them to move to a different region to cool down tensions between the residents and expand further to make room for more expecting parents. They agreed, but only if it was HE who took them there. They were tired of being blamed for everything that went wrong and did not want to be responsible for the separation of the clan entirely.

Many of the dragons left during the move to the Southern Expanse, but many more stayed and since then the clan has calmed and even thrived. When Frost and Soyala came to adulthood, Othin saw a leader in Frost and offered to step down and let him take the role as Matriarch. Frost, after a time, agreed but asked that Othin stay as his advisor and help him keep the peace.
