Arndis is the glue that holds the Clan together. When there are arguments, she settles them. Where there are battles, she overcomes them. Whatever disrupts the Clan, she deals with. To Arndis, the entire Clan is her family. She is a guardian to everyone under her protection.

She will never fail to put duty first. Arndis has high expectations of other dragons in terms of their morality and nature, but is kind and compassionate to those in need. She will never stand by if another dragon, friend or enemy, is being wrongfully treated. Arndis believes in mercy and fairness to all individuals, but those that deserve retribution will be swiftly punished. It's best not to try excuses with Arndis and better to admit your mistakes and take the penalty she declares. Arndis feels great responsibility for those under her command, and struggles to cope with failure.

BIOGRAPHY

Arndis was the runt of Sindi's final nest. She was small and fragile, but that did not stop the newborn Skydancer from facing life head on. Despite the challenges of growing up, she remained a positive and loving dragon to all those around her. She was named after her grandmother for her strong spirit and big heart. Arndis may not have met her namesake, but the Fae's blood lives on in her. She is kind, just, and brave.

She resembles and takes after her grandfather, Forseti, as well. Arndis affectionately calls him her Papa-Papa. She strives to be as courageous and strong as Forseti. Whenever Arndis feels weak, she remembers her Papa-Papa, and her spirit glows with his strength.

Guenhwyvar is Arndis' most trusted companion. Guen, being the first Tundra of Clan Tempest, had a rough upbringing. The other dragons doubted she could be of any use. Not Arndis. She judged Guen for her heart and mind, not for her species. Arndis took her training, and Guen proved to be a loyal and determined soldier. That was all Arndis needed of her. Guen was the only dragon that could keep up with Arndis' strict curriculum. Before long, Arndis promoted Guen to be her second in command. Thanks to Arndis' faith in Guen's abilities, the Tundra is now highly respected.

Despite all of her strict rules and stern nature, in her leisure time she relaxes. She is often seen sewing dolls for the hatchlings, and is incredibly patient and will allow young ones to play on her back and tug on her tail while she works. She has a soft spot for hatchlings and appreciates their innocence.

However, she does not seem interested in having her own nest. Her comrades claim it is because her grandfather, a dragon she holds in great regard, is simply too high a standard for any male to meet.

This changed when her patrol encounter an amber-eyed Coatl at the edge of the border. Electricity crackled across his body, and he seemed at home among the fallen spires. Arndis, trusted the stranger's character, and he followed her command ever since. He called himself Anduin, and he fought by her side with shocking ferocity and intelligence...
