Her dyes were used mainly on Apik's masterpieces of apparel, and also on woven blankets or rugs, random fabrics, or her mate's hides. She would very rarely put them to use on a dragon's scales, feathers, or mane. If someone wanted a custom color, she could figure out a way to do it. Her and Kakai both worked in the presence of the other and due to the close proximity, she would occasionally practice tanning some of the hides. There was something quite soothing about the monotonous work and she greatly enjoyed it.

Dying was quite the achievement for her among the clan. She had discovered the trade completely by accident as a hatchling, smashing nearby flora and marveling at the vibrant colors as they soaked into her fur and feathers. As her experiments and skills evolved, it became evident that one could dye just about anything, and her family took constant advantage of her proficiency by having her customize various belongings. She made it a point to invite Farai over before using a newly created batch of dye since his keen eye was adept to spotting inferior quality and vibrancy. That is, until she eventually mastered it herself.

On her downtime, she was usually bathing in the sunlight in an open field with Kakai, polishing his scales while he preened her almost endlessly. Her bitty sparrowmouse often perched atop one of their heads, chirping a quiet approval of the serenity.

Eowyn was hatched with a basic tert with every intention of becoming exalted. Scrying happened and I realized that she was a perfect color match to mate with Kakai, so long as I brought out her tert.
