Darkfire

Darkfire is a mercenary, but not just any mercenary- He's known world wide as one of the all time best assassins.

Raised in a small village, Darkfire started out as a small boy by a very different name. When he was still young his family was killed by a warlord who raised his home town, setting everything on fire. Darkfire was the only one to survive.

With a heavy heart the youngling set out to find the killer who had destroyed everything he'd ever known. As his feet grew tired, so did his heart. He grew dark and angry, more and more vengeful.

In his travels he met an assassin by trade. Striking up a conversation after being impressed with his skills, Darkfire learned of a secluded and obscure place where he too could learn these skills. With them he would seek his vengeance.

For fifteen years Darkfire studied at this dark and unholy place of death. He studied every skill he could learn, practicing and practicing until he had mastered it. Stealth, accuracy, speed, leathality. He was a weapon. A living breathing weapon- and he was ready to purge the world of that warlords life.

Darkfire spent three years tracking down that warlord.

When he found him, he was meek. Old and blind. He had been defeated, blinded by his own troops and left for dead ages ago. He was no threat to anyone. The warlord had long since seen the error of his ways and was repenting with every breath.

This mattered little the the dark coatl.

"Do you remember a little village outside of shadow territory?"
"W-what? I can't say I do.... why do you ask?"
"You set it aflame. Everyone died. The skies held the ashes of a hundred souls that night and the fires of hell only forsook one life."
"You.... you survived?"

His brows narrowed and his voice grew deep with hatred.

"I was just a boy when you took my world away. My life."
"You are still alive!" The elderly former warlord pleaded.
"No. The boy I was is dead. Today, I am reborn. A life cast into the world as an answer to a single death."
The old dragon tried to drag himself away, but Darkfire snatched him by the tail and drug him back.
The coatl leaned in towards the pleading elder's ear. "Today, Darkfire is born." He whispered.
And with a swift movement to sharp and fast for the naked eye to see, he ended the life of the old dragon without remorse.

Since that day hes traveled the world as an assassin for higher, taking pay for a kill count.
Toothless will not allow him on Nightwatch territory, he knows of his jobs, and his enjoyment and he does not want any association with it. If darkfire were the only way to end the life of Toothless' greatest enemy Dragmar without casualty, he'd rather die taking the imp down himself.
