"ZEUS was the king of the gods, the god of sky and weather, law, order and fate."

Zeus was the last born from the Titans Kronos and Rhea; his siblings included Demeter, Hades, Hera, Hestia, and Poseidon. As his siblings were born, they were each eaten by their father, Kronos, but Zeus had been hidden away on a remote island where he grew and gained strength until finally he freed his siblings and with them tore the Titans from power, ushering a new reign led by the Olympians, with himself as their King.

He and his two brothers divided the Earth: Zeus ruled the skies, Poseidon ruled the seas, and Hades ruled the Underworld: the land of the dead. Zeus married Hera and made her Queen of Olympus, although their marriage was infamously weak as Zeus had affairs with mortal women extremely often. His weapon was the mighty lightning bolt, which was feared by all mortals.
