Claudia is the tactician for the clan as well as a sort of ambassador for peace. Shes cunning and highly observant. She listens to everyone no matter their station when they have something to say, constantly gathering information no matter how trivial to have in her arsenal when she needs to plan strategy. You would be surprised how much the humble hunter knows about the land compared to the lord sitting in his hold all day, supposedly knowing every inch of his lands. Claudia is known as a dragon with an ear in every wall, knowing things seemingly before anyone else does. Where others value tangible objects like gold or weapons, Claudia values the secrets of all. As a result, Claudia is a dragon who knows how to don a 'mask' for every occasion. Where one sees politeness and flattery, or a charitable ear to ones troubles.... The truth is far from altruistic. It is hard to see who are her true friends and who are simply convenient allies in her repertoire but one thing is certain; despite her keen desire to play espionage and gather knowledge of her enemies, ultimately her tactics in all of this is placing the lives of others over victory on the battlefield. The secrets Claudia gathers is so the casualties will be as minimum as possible. A war won before a single troop sets foot on the battlefield is far more valuable to Claudia then the cost of lives not even involved in the politics of the elite. Funfact: Despite having a solid record of victories in her portfolio, were she to ever lose or make a mistake in her strategies she would never apologize in public. To apologize is to admit weakness and defeat, and that is something she would never do. "For although the battle would be lost, the war was just beginning." |
