In the beginning, She had wandered into this lair within the Emberglow Hearth, instinctively deciding that this area would be the final destination where she will complete her Search. Soon enough Abren showed up as fate would it and devoted his life to her and whatever Charge she may want to protect in the near or far future. With his help, Reyne made the lair into a suitable living space. It was then she wanted to start a guardian only clan with Abren.

At first, everything seemed well as they mated, even producing three hatchlings that soon grew up into strong providers for the clan. She was extremely protective of them, not wanting them to even begin their Search until she was long gone, mistaking her protectiveness as it being her Charge, her sole duty to keep then safe. But 'disaster' struck as their children soon left the clan exalted or out of spite towards another clan and flight, never to be seen again.

Devastated by her 'loss', Reyne remained in solitude yearning for what would've been within the clan for several months, with only Abren by her side.

Several months passed and all hope seemed to be lost until several dragons who left on their own terms from their flights and lairs flocked to their own barren lair. Curious as to why; Reyne weakly asked the younger dragons only to obtain this as their response.

"No one wanted us from our original clans. It was only fate that we would land here. Allow us to live here and we will provide much more for this clan than we ever would've for our own."

Reyne pondered this for a moment until it clicked inside her heart that her Charge wasn't to protect her own kin, but rather to protect the clan itself, no matter the dragon within.

Fueled with this new sense of passion and with the eternal help from Abren, she has finally found her Charge and devoted her life to this clan: Letting in all dragons, unwanted or not, from across the lands with another chance at life.

~Present Day~

Recently Rayne has grown wise over the years and has stepped down from her position as Leader and is now part of the Council of Elders along with Abren. Rivergold has taken her place as Leader of the Clan with her blessing.
