Impassive and indifferent to just about everything, Helios is, to all outward appearances, as cold as a marble statue and just as handsome. It's easy to see why he's the Light representative, the last of the flight ambassadors of the clan.
Sent as a gift by a Shadow sister clan, Helios was unfamiliar with the customs of a Plague clan and was curious as to see what the fuss was about. This was the reason he gave Heracles when the guardian interviewed him. The real reason was something he has yet to share with anyone: Helios is a Realmwalker, sent by the corps to shadow Tyche and Thanatos. Not a very high-ranking one, mind you, and nowhere near the level of renown Tyche and Thanatos have attained. His job is a humble one: that of clearing messes and massacres left behind by the pair. No one else knows of his true identity. In fact, what most of the clan knows about him can fit on the head of a pin: excepting the fact that he's the Light representative and quite obviously is born of the Light, Helios reveals very little about himself, fulfilling his duties as best as he can without drawing attention. Nyx clearly doesn't trust him, as do a good percentage of the clan. Helios couldn't care less. His past was a dark, shameful one, and he's left it far, far behind. Having to reveal his fears and concerns is one of his greatest fears-- the second, he will soon realise, is losing someone he cares about--- and he'll be damned if he lets anyone get to close. Yet for all his preparations, he doesn't see a certain spiral, Shadowborn and kindhearted, slowly remove the barriers he's erected around himself with gentle warmth and eager promises. Helios has never been the overly curious sort, and while he has more than his fair share of secrets, there is something about Boreas that suggests to him that Boreas has secrets, too. Still, if this clan means secrecy, safety, and refuge, Helios will gladly stay. He has much to learn, still, even if no one trusts him and he has long since overcome the natural compulsion to tell the truth.
