In an unusual choice of profession for a Wildclaw, Palla is an herbalist. She spends much of her time exploring the Starwood Strand searching for different plants and fungi. She knows all there is to know about the majority of plants that grow in the lands of the Arcane Flight as well as those most common in the surrounding areas. Her dedication to her craft is so great that she often samples her findings, just to be sure that they are at the proper stage of growth to be most useful before bringing them to Rivalen, the clan medic. For her actual meals she tends to carry around a sack of sparrows to munch on as she wanders the forest. She doesn’t bother to pluck said sparrows, which means that she frequently has an assortment of brightly colored feathers stuck between her teeth.

Often, though not always, her mate Charlie accompanies her on her trips. When together the two of them travel in comfortable silence, Palla preferring not to speak out loud when all that is necessary for her to convey her thoughts are her expressive eyes and Charlie focused on whatever animal he’s tracking for them to eat. Though Charlie won’t ever admit it, he’s learned a great deal about hunting birds from her, though he lacks her interest in plants. Why she collects plants with such dedication and what she does with them is a mystery, one she is in no hurry to reveal.
