The coatl notices your presence before you can introduce yourself. Holding a stick in her forepaw, she speaks in a low raspy hiss that is much too old for a young dragon like herself. You don't feel like you're in the presence of a naive, fresh-out-of-the-shell dragon. Instead, you feel as if the coatl is a conglomerate of deceased Arcane mages, whose wisdom and magics permate the air like mist on a rainy day.

"They say names give power." the coatl comments, drawing a strange pattern in the ground with a stick. "Every Cry Mage is born with their name. But names have power." she repeats this to herself, almost worship-like. She swirls the dirt in a neat mound, continuing, "We don't give our names to anyone. We treasure them, like a Guardian does with their Charge."

She walks over to you, wings catching the torchlight. She tilts her head, allowing a forked tongue to taste the air.

"You. You're interesting. I'll let you give me a name, just this one time."

Circe was sought out to accompany Clan Acrid through Plague Lands, as many of the undead creatures could be kept at bay with extensive magic. Circe never planned to stay, but sometimes even the best plans are sidetracked.
