Before being magically transformed into a skydancer, Siltaria was a young ungened Tundra!

Magus came along and the two decided to start a Lair together along the shores of Windstar Bay.

Historical Excerpts

Battle of the Bay July 2014
Siltaria was imprisoned by Arcane Flight over the silliest thing, setting off the first Battle of the Bay - Windstar vs Starwind Bay. You can read all about her adventures HERE.

Sitting down at her desk, Siltaria contemplates all that Windsinger had done for her this past year. She had survived the dreaded battle by the will of Windsinger, though she still felt some guilt at her part in the proceedings. Since then she had watched for a sign of Windsinger in the skies above the bay, but nothing even hinted at Windsinger returning to the Wind Flight lands since the big battle.

Perhaps if she sent a message to him? A prayer of sorts, a hope that all could be well again, and the world back to normal. She had been safely rescued, she had seen an Arcane dragon taken by Windsinger for service, she had seen miracles and wonders few had faced. She was thankful for her life and the prosperity of her clan. Windsinger did still care about them and for them, she felt it in her very heart. She felt Windsinger there. She would put her feelings in words and offer them to Windsinger....and hope he would hear her.

Battle of the Bay (Double Trouble) November 2015

Siltaria adopted a young Wisp Mage dragon, who turned out to be a Twin of an Arcane Wisp Mage dragon, and the two hatchlings got the Flights all in an uproar - and in the storyline, Siltaria learned never to have the younger dragons do her letter writing for her.

A snippet from the storyline for Siltaria's involvement:

Siltaria landed at the Main Battle Commander’s campsite, on the shoreline outside of her Lair. The large Battle HQ of the Cloudsong anchored above, shaped and molded as Windsinger himself. Inside it many dragons were busy with messages to the unit commanders, and the battle map was laid out for all to check. But here on the ground was every dragon that had answered the call to Battle, and it was a massive gathering! Her heart was filled with pride and she was grateful that so many supported Wind Flight in its time of need!

She pumped her wings up above and bugled for attention as the Battle Leaders began flying fro the Battle HQ to go to their units. It was the signal to begin!

“Wind Flight Warriors! Lairmates! Friends!

I see in your eyes the same fear
that would take the heart of me.

A day may come when the courage of dragons fails,
when we forsake our friends
and break all bonds of fellowship,

but it is not this day.
An hour of sharp claws and shattered shields,
when the age of Wind Dragons comes crashing down,
but it is not this day!

This day we fight!!
By all that you hold dear on this good Sornieth,
I bid you fly, Dragons of Wind Flight!!!

Fly against the Arcane that seek to destroy our families!
Fly against spells of harm and Arcane control of our Bay!

Fly with me for Wind!"

Siltaria gave a mighty roar that was taken up by every dragon around her. The dragons of Wind Flight took to the skies for battle!

'Twas the Night Before Christmas

The night sky was bright with stars, but it was very difficult for Cali to keep her eyes on the northern ways into the Lair. She was more tired than she thought, though she had taken a nap. She was hungrier than she thought, though she'd already eaten her late nite snack. Santa Dragon's waiting plate of cookies and milk were looking mighty tempting now. She would eat just a few...and another one. She would finish them if he didn't come soon...

Siltaria peeked around the corner and watched as Cali's head drooped a bit more, and then there it was - Cali had finally fallen asleep. Tiptoeing on the pads of her paws, Siltaria put a few more cookies on the plate after eating two and tilting the remainder on the plate into her pouch, then she drank the milk, and left a present beside her daughter. She then quietly went back inside the Lair and delivered presents to all the rooms, and then crawled into her own waiting bed.

Galeo opened his eyes a slit as his wife settled into bed and started snoring. He reached under the bed and placed a present on her bedside table, went out and placed another one next to Cali outside the Lair, put cookies on the plate after eating a few, then went to all the rooms and left more small trinkets for everyone before snuggling in.

Aunt Sireena quietly came down the corridor and put more cookies on the plate, poured more milk in the glass, and placed them on top of the present she'd brought for Cali. She put a present beside her sister and her brother in law, and all the rest of the Lair, then snuck back into bed...but paused at Galena's door...the light was dimly on. She knocked softly and opened the door to find Galena reading under the covers.

"Go to sleep, little one, tomorrow will be a busy day with so many coming to visit for Christmas."

"Yes, Aunt Sireena, in a few minutes. I just need to read a bit before getting some sleep."

Sireena left the present for Galena outside the door as she closed it, to be found in the morning.

Galena blew out her candle, and silently opened her door...snuck out and ate the cookies, drank the milk, and left presents for everyone before going to bed.

The morning dawned bright and clear, with a crisp breeze and the smell of roasting bacon.

Suddenly Uncle Magus let out a roar....Its Christmas Day and all the cookies are gone! Who ate all the cookies? We had plenty for company last night, how could Santa eat all of the cookies?! And the Milk, who drank all the milk? SILTARIA!

So with furtive looks at each other, the entire Lair helped make more cookies in time for all the Christmas visitors who ate and enjoyed them, too. And Siltaria sent Magus out for more Milk.

It was a very Merry Christmas for all.
