Sulmara is a gifted lightweaver, a being who can illuminate objects, and weave strands of light together for the benefit of others. she maintains the sun stones, and the implements needed to weave light. every jubilee, Sulmara participates in the Lightweaving ritual which allows her to illuminate the objects, blessed by the Lightweaver for another year. During this time, any new devices which require the blessing are brought before the priestess to be blessed.

during the rest of the year she works as a representative for the Lightweavers children, and acts as lightweaver for her clan. often clans with a resident light weaver tend to rely on light and candles, rather than electricity to keep their dwellings lit.
