B I O G R A P H Y

Lieyel was born into a lair of cold detachment, where apathy is a custom and warmth is left discarded to the way side. This lair existed since the start of the Third Age, valuing pure Ice Bloodlines above all else. Hatchlings of mixed elemental heritage aren’t even considered for exalting to the Ice Warden because of their low societal standards. Instead, they are left outside the lair for bigger prey animals in a form of disposal. Lieyel swallowed the secret of her mixed bloodlines, living a lie.

She held her temper and passion given to her by her father’s side well. Just not well enough. The day she was discovered to be fathered by a dragon originally from the Flamecaller’s territory was the last one she spent it there. She was exiled and in that moment her heart hardened and became the closest to the ideals of her original lair than in the entirety of her stay there.

Lieyel found the strength to continue towards the Southern Icefield where she created a lair in the Frigid Floes. She would rule with a coldness bordering on cruelty. She wanted to not only live up to her past but become better than where she came from. With this she believed she had to discard emotions. She wouldn’t let anyone hurt her again, she wouldn’t feel again.

Or so she thought.

B I O G R A P H Y

Instead of filling her clan with hardened warriors as planned Lieyel found herself with a collection of strays. First came Reran with his many Light guided mysteries, the closed off Ulthir, the bold Latona and the innocent Sage. Her heart was finally melted by the coldness of her mentee, Hank. Lieyel couldn't understand that despite the ideals she held why her clan was growing with a different kind of strength. She learned to grow with. Not one her old clan could appreciate but one that she learned to lead with. Her close friends Anastasia and Dorian knew it had been there the whole time.

It was only upon the upraising of Dorian's son, Aden, that Lieyel realized how much she had truly grown. He was a furious rebel who was close with her own son, Dexterados. She often found the two getting into more trouble than she was sure she could handle. Dexter Jr. was a simple soul while Aden had all of his father's cunning and more than enough arrogance. Lieyel reluctantly sent him away on an apprenticeship and when he return she found he'd become a dragon that she was not only proud of but beyond all reason... Loved.

Dexter Senior came back. It was only two years ago when Lieyel had just begun the clan so many dragons now call home she had met Dexter. Despite Dorian's disapproval Lieyel had listened to the counsel of Dexter. He suggested that they mate once and send their children to the Icewarden so the clan could gain favor. Dexter himself had been headed there anyway and thought to help out where he could before leaving for service. Upon his return it was revealed that Lieyel's two children had not been sent to the Warden's service but to the Lightbringer instead. The years without hearing a word for them suddenly made sense as they had been raised to not know of her existence. Lieyel decreed that Dexter would be held a prisoner of their clan so that justice could be serve until further sentencing could be decided. Her heart torn, not even Aden could properly console her. She isn't sure where her softened heart will lead her next.
