Boethiah

After Boethiah was born, she served Shadowbinder directly. She worked as a warrior, and also as a political agent, using her silver tongue to persuade those to join Shadowbinder's cause. She also infilitrated enemy ranks, whispering deceit and treachery, slowly causing the enemy soldiers to turn on one another.
Eventually, Shadowbinder decided on a different use for her dear daughter. She was given a lair and the duty of leading those who were exalted. Those exalted to Shadowbinder do so by choice, hoping to one day be blessed with her ultimate gift of eternal youth and immortal life. Those who are exalted and serve well may be granted immortality and eternal youth, and will join Shadowbinder forever, enjoying their lives however they wish. Boethiah's clan consists entirely of those exalted, waiting for Shadowbinder's blessing, with many being blessed by her already.
Many have vied for Boethiah's affection, those wishing to become her mate must display extraordinary skill, and none so far have reached her standards. She does, however, have two familiars who are with her near-constantly. Her shadow sprite was gifted to her by Shadowbinder when she was given the lair, a link between the two when they are apart. Her sprite is by her side always, whether visible or not. Shadowinder and Boethiah use her often as a messenger between the two, relaying important information when neither can reach the other. Boethiah also found a bear, deep within the brambles, who she keeps as her personal guardian and friend. He has divine healing skills and protects her from any ill-will of those who would wish to harm her. He balances Boethiah's temperance, keeping her calm and collected when things go awry.
