Narcissus

Narcissus is the leader of the Burnished Royal Guard. The Burnished Royal Guard is composed of only the strongest Imperials in honor of the Lightweaver. The Burnished Royal Guard protect the Royal Family, and fight with the Copper Royal Guard for the Family's attention. They also have a bitter rivalry with the Alabaster Knights.

Narcissus was once close friends with the Iron Knight leader, Kaos. In their youth, they were well known as the Clan's closest duo, their friendship unbreakable. That is, until the Clan's way of life started to change. Even in their early years as knights in different factions, Narcissus and Kaos had managed to stay close. But when the democracy began to change to a monarchy, the two found themselves at odds. Narcissus strongly believed that their progenitors knew what was best for the Clan, and that everything they did was for good. Kaos strongly believed that they had succumbed to greed and fear, pushing themselves higher up on their pedestals so as to appear strong and unbeatable, a force to be reckoned with and left unchallenged. Months passed by, and though in the beginning they had agreed to disagree, that arrangement quickly began to fade away. Neither could ignore the actions of the other, and they finally ended their years-old friendship. Though neither would ever admit it to the other, they both yearn for and miss the days when they were thick as thieves.

When the eggs were stolen, and dragons began to look to their own clanmates for traitors, those loyal to the Empress and Emperor started to suspect Kaos as one of, or even the, traitor. He of course denies this, and makes sure not to say the wrong things around the wrong dragons on the subject. Despite how he makes it well known that he disagrees with the ways of the Empress and Emperor, Narcissus does not suspect Kaos. Even though some of his own subordinates insist on the idea, Narcissus will do nothing to provoke Kaos. Narcissus believes that, despite Kaos's blatant dislike of the current ruling power, he would not dare touch the Royal eggs.
