The Wise

As the oldest dragon in the clan, Holly is considered an elder of some sorts. Dragons of all ages come to her for advice-- even Lilac has been known to consult her during times of uncertainty. Holly is humble enough, yet she still takes her position as clan elder very seriously. If she is insulted by a foolish "youngun," they will be sure to receive a sharp reprimanding from the wizened Nocturne. Holly lived the first several months of her life nameless, residing with her parents in the Shadow clan she was born into for a long time, even long after her siblings left. After having one clutch of Shadow offspring, she decided to move on and found a new clan. Nevertheless, her former mate pestered her endlessly, begging her to return to him. Holly stubbornly refused, not willing to fall into the humdrum trap of her old life. He has since finally left her alone, and Holly is perfectly happy in her new group. Despite her age, she still gives the clan a couple new nests of hatchlings of her own every season, eager to expand her bloodline beyond that of her eldest sons and daughter, all of whom went to loyally serve the Gladekeeper.
