Echo

Younger brother to Amber and Vorpal. When he was born, the clan marveled at his rare markings which resembled his mother's. These unique runes were surely a symbol of superior magical power. But the precious hatchling quickly took a dark turn. He would not adapt to speech, and only communicated with hisses and snarls. The clan healers tried many different forms of medicine and therapy, but the hatchling was consistently aggressive. He became labeled as a danger to other dragons - a sociopath to be exact. Echo did appear to have a clear grasp on the world, but did not adhere to standard morals. He bit other dragons when he was angry, slashed at nearby objects when frustrated, and retreated into solitude when afraid. He wants nothing to do with any other dragon. Echo occasionally decides to defend nests, but shows no affection to any individual other than himself. Ryze feels responsible for his madness, and loves her son dearly, but he does not recognize her as a mother. Those around him are all just bodies - meaningless and fleeting.
