✠ Although he is first and foremost a warrior, Annaster acts mostly as Aryse's deputy and advisor.
✠ He is as ruthless off the battlefield as he is on it, and as such balances out Aryse's compassion in political matters.
✠ He can predict at great accuracy when somebody is lying or omitting the truth and has the capability to pick up on poor intentions.
✠ Annaster is incredibly intelligent and cunning, and he uses those attributes in his fierce loyalty to the Refuge.
✠ Many dragons consider him cold and unfeeling, Annaster struggles to feel as much as other dragons, but he has genuine love and affection for those he cares about.

✠ Annaster was raised in a vicious thieving clan in the Southern Icefields that lived by a kill or be killed philosophy. He was the son of the matriarch.
✠ Surrounded by this, Annaster saw nothing wrong with his clan and by the time he was old enough to draw blood, he was killing those who were a threat to his mother.
✠ Just before his adulthood, his mother was assassinated, knowing he was next, Annaster fled.
✠ He wandered for several months before he met Isokel, a scholar and philosopher who helped him when we was in danger. Isokel took it upon herself to teach him about philosophy and morals.
✠ After awhile they went their separate ways and Annaster met Aryse, who took him back to the Refuge, where they grew closer.
