B I O G R A P H Y

Once a travelling witch in search of power, now a more-than-docile owner of the cozy “Changing Tides”. Her little nook aims to be soothing and provide white noise to a chaotic world where dragons and familiars are able to take a breather from adventuring around the world. There is a bustle of dragons that have been scaled to similar sizes and each having their own merry time in the bar.

While she may have settled, the magic of the enchanted bar has not. It drifts around Sornieth as it feels with very little influence from Thistle. Not all dragons are keen to enter in the Verdant Forests and leave in the Icefields so as long as they land marked their entrance place, Thistle can send them back in a jingle of gems and treasure. If they do not have the payment or the landmark, then they just have to settle backtracking to their original camp. Otherwise, the more optimistic sort believe it is their next adventure.

She still actively hones her powers by specializing in enchantments and potions. If you are rude, you may get a bit more in your drink than you bargained for. The last time a brawler threatened to destroy her bar ended the evening passed out as a tiny mouse. Regardless, she is not responsible for any bodily harm they acquired after they have transformed.

____Despite the current success of the traveling bar, she owes a lot of money and support to Meridia and Aurelleum. Thistle and Meridia became fast friends during Thistle’s stay in the Starwood Nest and they keep in touch using an enchanted conch shell that Meridia created. They bonded over their adventures and trading stories back and forth about their encounters while travelling Sorneith. Thistle gives her perspective from the land and sky, while Meridia shares how it felt to travel both on and under the sea.

____Aurelleum on the other hand was more of a begrudging friend of Meridia that eventually warmed up to her. She stays at the bar with the wares and charges when ever they cross paths. It is more chaotic whenever she stops in, but a few expansion charms and a bit of gentle nudging eventually forces all of Aurelleum’s possessions into her room. Aurelleum shows off her latests trades and even leaves a few gifts for Thistle to send back to the clan.

____Her partner, Edelweiss, runs through the schematics and errands of the shop. He deals with the schematics of the jobs such as sourcing the food, crafting the beers, and anchoring the bar to a safe post for the day.

____At the time that they met, Edelweiss was the very picture of a drowned rat. Thistle found him in the forest and saved him from a furious pack of rasa. The cold matted his feathers and fur, while the days spent exploring gave him a ragged look. Who knew that this was a prince? All the outward hardships were scrubbed away, yet the inner wounds still needed time to heal.

____So Thistle served what she does best and calmed his mind with ale, droughts, or potions. To heal his mind, Edelweiss took a liking to charms and enchantments, not quite through potions like she did, but through intent and karma.
