Lilith

The Nocturne had snuck into Draconem in the Wind territory under the cover of nightfall. Being Arcane-born, it was not too far a trip at all. Even better, she managed to foresee the best path to sneak past Draconem’s guards— there was no way they would see her coming. It had been foretold.

After pilfering a recently found piece of magic called by some as Glimmer, as Lilith felt it best to treat herself to a better appearance before things got too hectic—this was part of the plan indeed. Look your best and others will be distracted.

She slipped down into some of the lairs of the “higher ups” and began to whisper unheard comments into their sleeping ears, suggestions to the leaders of Draconem, just small ones. Ones to help bend them to her ends. However, it was near dawn, and the nocturne had to sneak out again, before she was caught. After all, she would almost be late for her “welcome” if she stayed here too long.

The next morning, those of Draconem never seemed aware of the intruder from the night before. The guards were however rebuked for their sleepiness that morning. A scout had seen a nocturne heading slowly over the edge of the clan’s territory, and was sent to greet it.

The Nocturne appeared to be young, slightly naive even, but beautiful. She mentioned that she had just come of age and had been sent out to find her way in the massive world of Sornieth. "I’m a fortune-teller of sorts! Surely a clan like yours could be due for a bit of fun.”

So the scout indeed brought the Nocturne back to Draconem, and all seemed quite entranced by her… but something seemed off about her. The Guardian, Tugger, wondered what her aims were, with her flying about and almost dancing airs about her. She seemed to have the clan under a spell, and it wasn’t just due to her shining scales. Hadn’t they just lost a Glimmer scroll last night he thought? No one seemed to notice. His partners, the Wildclaw warriors, seemed to not notice either! She was even sweet-talking them. This wasn’t right… he knew it wasn’t right.

“Oh Guardian! Why do you seem so put off? Wouldn’t you like to join in the fun?”

Lilith saw the rough looking Guardian who had been side-eyeing her the entire time start to walk off. Good, he won’t come back. All for the better now that I’ve brought the most powerful of this bunch under my influence.

The Nocturne grinned a little secretly off to the side, her plan was gaining speed and fast. With my silvered-tongue and prophetical abilities, this clan won’t come against me too well at all! Any dissenters can be dealt with. I’ll certainly defend this bunch, take care of them, despite the fact that I’ve manipulated them enough I do have a heart. My Nocturne mimicry has simply just bewildered them a bit, after all, and they don’t deserve destruction. I simply want to lead after all, and I think Shadow may be the best choice in terms of a new start for us all…
