Biography
WELCOME TO THE SAIHESKIAK
━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━✽━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━
Fallen Titans like whale falls sustain the living, such as the cycle entails. The Saiheskiak is a stretch of small islands sitting technically within the bounds of plague territory but skirting just close enough to the Sea of a Thousand Currents to have a nice view and agreeable climate. The islands came to be after a strange and humongous creature was felled in the skies over Sornieth and crashed into the waiting shore down below. The scavengers made quick work of its decaying body and the victors of the fight eventually staked out a place amongst the fertile land the flesh left behind. The lands get more rough further towards the Scarred wasteland but the whole of the Saiheskiak is otherwise covered with steppe, shrublands and forests, its southern end being home to a few lovely beaches. The whole of it has been divided amongst the dragons and the Beastclans. The two races tend to strike up precarious if well-intentioned alliances. The dragons would much rather stick to just fighting each other over the beastclans, and the beastclans want to be left alone, which to most is enough of a foundation to at least make a truce. To the south, this approach has worked out the best so far. To the north, various warbands fight for constant dominance in a never ending cycle. All that is left of the life of the titan is a handful of dragons that each inherited a facet of its life. Saiheskiak represents the body of the Titan, and while he inherited the least of its power, his being is inextricably tied to the land and all that lives and dies on it. He can hear the dead, and within the Crown he is most often consulted about matters such as emperors and the restless dead. |

THE CITY OF CROWN
━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━✽━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━
Crown, named for the fact that it is built within the former skull of the Titan, is considered the central political hub of the Saiheskiak, despite sitting on the very edge of the Deathlands. The primes of the Saiheskiak live here, representations of the Titan’s former power. They seek to create a sense of regulation within the new territory, desiring both to preserve it and to cultivate it into a haven for both dragon and beast clan (the latter topic is a point of contention among the prime council). Crown also holds its own portal hub, designed to quickly get visitors around the Saiheskiak or out into Sornieth again.
