Kokoro

He/him, Bisexual.

Kokoro came to the core clan after the messy break up with his former mate. As their relationship became more difficult, he had no choice but to leave the clan with his three daughters in hopes of starting anew. Shamira was understanding of his situation, having just lost her partner herself. Kokoro was more than thankful for her offer, and agreed to repay her by working as the clan’s healer. Having studied since childhood, he proved very dependable in his job. This occurred in the very early years of the reformed clan, and he has proven himself both deeply compassionate and dependable in his profession.

Kokoro has been in the clan since then, and all three of his children have grown up and taken their separate paths. Satomi and Cande were both born with their mother's belligerent spirit, yet they channel it all into acts of protection. They have willingly taken service under the Flamecaller, in hopes retaining territory and giving their loving, hardworking father a peaceful life. Liliya stayed around a bit longer, working as medicinal apprentice to her father. She is like his younger self, just as soft and trusting as he was. However, Liliya has found herself a calling in working as a traveling healer. She both takes after herself, but has the strength to protect herself.

While they do occasionally visit, they are often so wrapped up in their new lives that it is often brief. Kokoro has always suffered with feelings of inadequacy, which he was able to push aside whilst raising them. But with no one, it became more difficult. He found help in Angelica of all dragons, who taught him that he can be strong enough on his own and that he doesn’t need anyone to complete him. Despite their opposing beliefs and personalities, she had always respected his emotional strength and wished to remind him of itAfter quite some time of that realization, Kokoro realized how many new friends he’d made in the clan and is perhaps even happier with them than he has ever been with any past mates.

He has also dabbled in other Magic’s, and worships the Stormcatcher for his magic and bringing him into the world, the Icewarden for his hardiness, and the Tidelord for his fluidity. Kokoro is always quick to extend help to clan’s of any of those elements, and even spent several years helping to heal The Merchants of the Southern Icefield's sick in the midst of a blight when the clans only recently split. Eldor thanked him for his efforts by blessing him with Blizzard, a spirit of Ice just as selfless and accepting as he is. His fins are actually the blessed adaptations of a water clan whose healer he trained within the Deepwater Clairvoyants. These fins are not only to make traveling and staying in their domain possible, but a magical badge of honor.

Kokoro is considered absolutely gorgeous by dragons of many genders. This is something he also likes about himself, and he loves to wear beautiful jewels to accent his natural looks. After seeing some of the incredible products she has made, Kokoro wished to take after Raquel and learn the art of Alchemy. The way he saw it, it would be possible to manufacture new medicines and healing potions. However... he completely lacks Raquel's approach and knack for producing rarer items. They require such a different skillset that all he has earned are a set of softly glowing claws. He respectfully leaves Alchemy to her business, and keeps to the position he knows best.
