• hegelle is a dragon made up of several oxymorons. he is a lumbering beast of an imperial but is perhaps one of the most gentle in the clan. most notably hegelle can paint some of the most bizarre, mind-bending abstract art known to dragonkind, but he is entirely blind. his milky, red eyes move with each brush stroke and sparkle with every finished piece, but he cannot see a thing. • x, his closest friend and fellow artist, will sit for hours and describe any and all of his finished paintings, but will not utter a single word during the actual process. hegelle has adapted to his disability by being able to feel the structure of each stroke with his sensitive whiskers, or even his claw tips if he feels bold. hegelle mixes each basin of paint with specific ingredients to give them a unique smell, so he can identify them easier. shades of blue smell of petrichor, and bright golds are reminiscent of baked goods. do not dwell on what the deeper reds remind you of. • he's a friendly and approachable soul, but is very reclusive and is, more often than not, comfortable staying indoors within his own workshop than he is wandering the streets, though sometimes he emerges at night to experience the breeze and hear the sounds of the wasteland after dark. his closest friends often bring him food and other neccessities as it isn't unheard of for the imperial to be caught up in his work for weeks at a time.
