Magma comes from a wind clan, but she never felt as though she belonged. Her spirit was always drawn to the Flamecaller of the Ashfall Waste. Her goal was to venture off and join a Fire clan. The clan she ended up joining was a Light clan. After a while, the clan leader, decided to move into Ice territory. So, somehow she suddenly found herself in The Southern Ice Field... of all places. Despite the extraordinary differences between ice and fire, she loved the other dragons in the clan too much to desert them. Besides, opposites attract, right!?!? Anyways, the clan, is extremely eclectic, so she feels as though she belongs, which, in the end, is what she was always really after. Maybe one day she will make it to the Ashfall Waste. Maybe not. It definitely is a possibility seeing as how the clan has moved twice in the time that it was formed. In the meantime, she is content in where she is.
Magma found her niche in the clan, by becoming one of the best warriors the clan has. Other's talk about the 'fire in her belly' that she gets when it is time to do battle. While she may not have 'real' fire, she makes up for it in swiftness. She grew up in a wind clan and thus her wind abilities became permanent. On the battle field she often dodges incoming attacks and when she attacks, it is a rare thing when a foe can dodge.

I’ve briefly considered changing flights for a few reasons before (lore/dom/community mostly) and wind has almost always been my first or second choice, even though I like the aesthetic of earth/plague/fire more usually. Everybody there is just super nice it seems, but I could say the same for earth too. Magma is really cool, her lore is awesome and so are her looks! Her fam/skin/apparel/scene/vista fit her so so well without being too busy. I love when people write lore for their dragons who “switch” flights- it’s always super interesting.
