History Itharius is a leader, mysteriously born within the heart of Viridian Labyrinth. His pod pulsed with a dim emerald light, and he was cast out into the world - cold, alone, and confused. Under Gladekeeper's blessing, Itharius miraculously survived his ill-cursed fate. He was born with humongous faith in his tiny beating heart to survive, and most importantly, grow. For in this frightening labyrinth, the young Fae set out to make a place for his own. He swore to his Lady Glade that, no matter what circumstance, he would be able to help out in every single way. He would help others and settle down in a place where dragons could take refuge and be safe. And She smiled upon him then, because he was young and naive. But not alone. Itharius wore her colors proudly when he made his first tribe. He named his clan "The Emerald Dream" after the pure, lively color that surrounded their home. It was a struggle in the beginning, however. Food was scarce and the Shrieking Wilds gave no mercy to its passerby. Eggs were often found in abandoned nests, but by then it was too late, for the wild podlings that possessed precious hatchlings had withered. Ripe fruit that strung off bushes and trees were eaten regularly. The dens of his clan were always scavenged in the night. Itharius was going to make it because he protected his faith, that Lady Glade watched over him and kept him safe. And he was going to make it up to her, to keep his promise and set everything right. (He did.) |
