Bast and her identical twin brother, Bane, came to the clan as ruthless muscle-for-hire. When Cecil began to notice a rise in beast clan activity, he realized that their defenses may not always be enough to protect them fully; for this reason, he accepted Bast and Bane into the clan on the condition that they would defend Clan Dorsia above all else. Having nowhere else to go after leaving the Scarred Wasteland, they agreed, and have been a part of the clan ever since.

Unlike her brother, Bast is very reserved -- until she's angry. When incensed, the timbre and volume of her voice have been said to make the ground shake and even crack (though the latter is said to be a rumor.) She teases her brother often, but will have the head of anyone else who tries to.

Bast has few friends due to her quiet and occasionally unpredictable nature, but she has been known to spend time with Hestia or Balefire on occasion. As an introvert, though, she appreciates her time to herself. Because she's on the aromantic spectrum, she has no interest in finding a mate at this time. She does, however, have a fondness for cats.
