Biography

A stuck up, entitled brat, Dynamite comes from a wealthy clan in the Starwood Strand. He took on the role of Ambassador for his clan thinking it would be an easy, cushy job. Once he landed in the Silver Glade clan, however, he quickly realized he had been mistaken.

He had touted his prowess in bringing out one's inner magical potential as one of his credentials (which was never true, Dynamite was never much good at magic, nor anything that didn't require sitting and looking pretty). So, once he arrived at the clan, he was put to work teaching the hatchlings how to control their elemental magic. Knowing that he would never be able to do his job, Dynamite hurriedly began looking for a dragon he could manipulate into doing his job for him without alerting the rest of the clan that he was a fraud.

He quickly came upon Yamila, a deranged, but dizzyingly talented witch. He had heard her murmuring in her restless sleep about magic, infinite knowledge, and the Arcanist many times. One day, he asked her directly about where she had come from and if she had known the Arcanist. At once, the fog of insanity had lifted from her eyes, and she spoke of a horrifying experience of finally gaining the knowledge she sought, only to have it ripped from her. As she spoke, a plan formulated in Dymamite's mind.

As she ended her tale, and the queer haze drifted back over her eyes, Dynamite said he sympathized with her dismay. So much in fact, that he was willing to help her return to the Observatory and confront the Arcanist with her. But only if she would help him first...

So presently Yamila teaches the young ones about their elemental abilities while Dynamite "supervises". Pleased with himself, he chuckled and thought on how he was never going to make good on his promise.
