No proper bio yet, I'm afraid. Please be patient.
Notes:
- Continue the story of the Leading family, fill up the time between Fritha's transformation and the Leaders' conciliation and the current time. Show the change in attitudes from the former militancy to the current, more laid-back atmosphere.
- Mundur's Charge was a reason for much head-banging against walls when it became obvious and is still a reason for much ribbing and jokes. He's the child who got the Leaders to understand that their Charges weren't as physical and obvious as they thought (weave in hints towards Spiritus Loci), and that their children tended to take after them in Guarding concepts and other metaphysical things. Lexia's Charge was (still is, turns out she had it all along and that her shift didn't make it go away) Clever Application of Knowledge (no wonder she lost her mind when none of her knowledge could help her parents), and Mundur's was Loyalty, of all things. No wonder he stuck around despite the mess the Clan was back then.
- Relationships to other members of leading family (including adopted ones!) and their Charges, if any.
- Captain of the Outpost's Warriors, and commands Loyalty as much as he Guards it, and those who hold it dear.
- Helps out in the garden in his free time - he likes puttering around and talking to the flowers. (The garden likes him back.)
- Mundur's name means "protector".
- Unexpectedly, the quietest (most unobtrusive) one in the family. That, coupled with a colour-change spell in his youth, often leads people to forget that he's the Leaders' child, despite being the first-hatched blood son remaining in the Clan. (Mundur is fine with this. The opinions of strangers don't matter, only that he and his loved ones know where his heart lies.)
- In the same vein, many don't expect him to be the Warrior Captain, second only to his parents when the Clan deploys their forces in combat, fourth only to the Heirs when at peace. He's just... not... bombastic enough. Forgettable, compared to the personalities he leads. (Mundur is fine with this too; people underestimating or forgetting him makes victory easier. Besides, the only good enemies are dead enemies, and the dead won't remember, anyway.)
- At first glance, it may appear impossible for someone like Mundur to lead and control subordinates as eccentric, volatile and dangerous (and ruthless, as those who make their living from the lifeblood of others tend to become) as the Warriors, but... they're his, and he's theirs, unequivocally. His quiet steadiness, calm and assurance is just what they need, and while it might not always look like it, they afford him the highest respect in turn. When Mundur wishes to be heard, the Warriors fall silent. When he orders, they do not question. When he loves them, they go to war for him, willing to lay their lives in his impossibly caring claws.
- His siblings joke that he's secretly an improved clone of their father, with all the grump and pettiness removed.
- Very much a believer in "silence is golden" - he much prefers to "stand in the background and look suitably decorative and threatening while Fritha wields her pretty words like poisoned knives." Only time anyone can coax longer conversation out of him is when he is laying down plans of operation or catching up on the lives and wellbeing of his loved ones.
