Balefire is notorious for her smoke and mirrors. Her illusionary trickery is the very basis of the clan's defense, making their home impossible to find. A total lush, she spends most of her days sipping fine drink and lounging around the Wispwillow Grove, occasionally performing simple magic tricks for passing clusters of clanmates. Her beauty is renowned and she loves the attention it brings her, though she has no interested in settling down with one dragon.

Balefire loves being fed cindershrooms by pretty boys, though they never last very long -- the second they stop doting or become boring to her, she casts them aside without a second thought. Most recently, she has taken an interest in Bane, her friend Bast's twin brother. Whether or not this will become a subject of contention between them remains to be seen.
