Unbreakable Rules

1. You cant trade progens
2. Dont scry as an imp, they’re functionally impossible to get breed change scrolls for
3. You cant change the element of a dragon
4. Dragons can only breed if they’re unrelated, fed, and off cooldown

5. Ancients can only breed with their own breed
6. If an ancient is involved in a breed change, genes are set to basic
7. Ancients can’t wear apparel

8. PMs immediately send the items or currency attached, unlike crossroads which leave the items in your hoard until accepted.
9. Items in the vault, on the AH, and on dragons can’t be used for Baldwin, Crim, Swipp, Crossroads, or PMs until they’re back in the hoard.

Quick Tips
1. Don’t breed your progens immediately. Give yourself time to decide if you like the unbred g1 aesthetic.
2. Name dragons before you sell them, they can be exalted unnamed which will forever be on the offspring list.
3. Check prices before selling dragons, fodder prices can vary depending on what’s happening with dom
4. Also check prices before selling items
5. Don’t convert useful (hibden, swipp, baldwin) items to food. While some aren’t worth any more than other foods, other’s are much more valuable.
6. Gather, grab something from Pinkerton, and bond with Fionas familiars daily. They don’t take long to do and are a good source of free stuff and potentially bonding with retired familiars.
7. During a festival, gather in that flights element, it gets you easy fest currency.
8. When using the dressing room, be aware that retired items are in there too. Try to familiarize yourself with the kickstarter items as those are almost impossible to get.
9. Check out the forums, there’s a lot of newbie giveaways and guides on there! Also don’t forget to check out your own flights forum (I would also suggest checking out their flight specific discord)
10. Have a look at account settings, you can change a few things for qol. I would mostly suggest selective feeding.
10. Always double check who you’re sending items/currency/dragons to with pms, private auctions, and one way crossroads. You cant undo pms once sent and the cr or pa could potentially be accepted before you realize your mistake.
11. Assay bloodlines before you buy dragons for a breeding pair.
12. You can exchange treasure and gems for each other via forums.
13. Breed changing a dragon doesn’t impact their current breeding cooldown but will impact all future cooldowns.
14. Apparel slots are unlocked for the whole account not the specific dragon.

**Flight Rising Lingo**

Treasure is usually denoted with a t or a kt. 1kt = 1000t
Gems are usually denoted with a g or for expensive items a kg. 1kg = 1000g

1kt:1g or 1000t:1g (or 1g:1kt or 1g: 1000t )are how exchange rates are usually written. The treasure amount is the one that tends to change over time. / is also used in place of :
