______Kyanite never fit into her birthclan. As a natural fighter the elders always looked down at her, and her peers kept their distance not daring to associate with her. Although she never picked fights, she never stood down from one either. Reaching adulthood, she fled, sick of all the sideways glares and hushed gossip as she passed by her clanmates.

______Attempting to find a way to get by as she traveled from clan to clan, just looking for a place she could really belong in, Kyanite took up singing to help pay her way. Eventually she settled into her place as a traveling bard, and anytime she met another musical soul she would learn from them. By now she is a master of many, many instruments.

______One day a shiny blue guardian, Lyr, approached her, convince she was his charge. Kyanite laughed it off, but he began trying to follow her around everywhere and protect her. Stubborn, she fought all her own battles, not allowing him to intervene, even if it seemed a bit much. Slowly through the constant contact between the two of them, they forged a friendship, which every so steadily grew into something more.

______Deciding they were enough family for each other, Kyanite realized she had found a place she belonged, with Lyr. They found themselves back at the seacliffs where they first met, and forged their own home within the stone walls. It was here that they founded their own clan, together, naming it the Cuillin Craig. Now Kyanite no longer travels with song, but instead many travelers stop in their clan to visit and hear her songs from all around Sornieth.
