ABOUTxxxxx❝No peace can last forever❞
A relatively small Mirror dragon, most dragons wouldn't expect Silver to be the leader of the clan. Yet, as any dragon who has spent any time in the lair would say, she is beyond a doubt the authority figure of the clan. Even the strongest fighters and largest Imperials clearly respect her, and for good reason. Despite her size, Silver is a strong warrior and more importantly, a fierce leader. She grew up alone in the Southern Icefields, a hatchling abandoned to the elements. It is through her own perseverance and determination that her clan has grown so large and respected, and those that challenge her clan will be met with loyal warriors willing to fight to the death for their leader.

Silver was the only surviving hatchling from a nest that was abandoned in the middle of a frozen wasteland. Some sort of animal had attacked the nest, smashing the other eggs. Luckily, Silver's egg remained relatively unharmed, except for a small scratch. When she hatched, she took shelter in a small cave nearby, presumably the lair of her parents. There was a small stash of food further inside, which she survived off of until she could hunt. As she explored further into the caves, she found small paintings on the walls, showing the life of the clan that had lived there. But though she searched, she found nothing about her nest, or what could have caused the clan to leave. She decided that she needed to continue the story, finding some paint supplies nearby, she began to paint what she knew of herself onto the walls of the cave. The old paintings were beautiful, and in comparison hers looked crude and childish, but she knew that she had to continue the story. She slowly became better and better, though still nothing like the old ones. One day, on one of her rare adventures outside the cave for food and art supplies, she came across another dragon. Although not much bigger than herself, his red and black colors made him seem menacing. She hid behind a tree to watch him, having never seen another dragon outside of the paintings, but it was too late. He'd seen her. But he didn't move to hurt her like she'd imagined. Instead he explained that, a lot like her, he'd been abandoned. They talked for a while, and she learned that his name was Fluffy. She then realized that she had no name to give in return. She'd never thought about a name before, she'd never needed to. She looked around, hoping to find inspiration for a name, when her gaze landed on the soft silvery snow falling from above. That was her name. Silver. Later she decided to let Fluffy come back with her to her lair, as he had no home to return to, and they later became mates, starting a new clan. She even tried to teach him to paint once, although he had no talent for art, so he soon gave up. To this day, she paints the walls with the story of her clan, but she never forgets the old story, and she has never stopped trying to figure out what exactly happened to that old clan.
The small clan was doing well, and Silver was proud. Trouble would come though, in the form of a young Guardian. She had been exalted, yet fought her way back. Silver had offered her refuge, yet there was no way she could stay in the Ice region. After much debating, she had decided that Wind would be safest. So Silver had agreed to fly with her and help her find a new home. And so Silver met a Mirror, the same age as her, who led a tiny Wind clan in a peaceful region perfect for the Guardian. Through this chance encounter, the Ice clan had found a new ally.
Whether by fate or complete chance, the two leaders quickly became friends. One thing led to another, quick greetings becoming long conversations, trade becoming an excuse to visit, and before long the two were inseparable. Though they differed in flights, colors, genes, and even values, rumor in the clans was that the two were sisters, they were so close. At the height of the alliance, the two clans had practically become one.
With all that had happened, Silver had almost forgotten about the clan before hers. One day, when the clan had grown beyond what the cave system could hold, the clan had decided to excavate some new parts that had been buried by collapsing walls. Silver was excavating near the painted caves when she simply stopped and stared in shock. There, on the buried and nearly ruined walls, was a story painted quickly, as if the dragon was in a rush. A story of a clan, having angered an ancient being of horrible power, being driven into Ice. And with them they carried two eggs, yet to acquire an elemental allegiance. The same powerful being following them, forcing them from the caves they had so shortly called home. One egg, dropped on the way, left for dead with a small crack. That egg then hatching into a blue and silver dragon, abandoned to the ice. Silver stumbled back, still in shock. She had never painted these walls, yet here she was, on the walls, as well as the answer to the question she had asked her whole life. But there was more. A clan, driven from their lair, mostly dead, arriving in Wind. An egg, hidden from the being, as the clan moved on, hoping to escape. That same egg hatching into a familiar black and green Mirror.
Silver could barely believe what she was seeing, ignoring her clanmates' anxious questions, as she took off for Wind. Had it truly been fate, so long ago, that the two inevitably intertwined clans had met? That the two sisters would become friends, unknowing of the blood they shared? Whatever it had been, it could not be denied. As she recounted the story for her friend, her sister, Silver realize she hadn't been surprised. Shocked, yes, but not surprised. And neither was Genovia. It was almost as if the paintings were simply a confirmation of what they had already known, bonded by more than friendship.
It took a long time, but the two eventually managed to track down the one who had left them so long ago. Scelus, she called herself, as she reunited with her long lost daughters. The only one who remained of a once powerful Arcane clan. With the family reunited at last, it was as if everything had fallen in place. Both clans were at peace, and the hidden secrets had all been revealed.
Of course, no peace, no matter how strong, could last forever.
