Maple is a natural schemer. In his past this meant he was forever moving from place to place - making trouble and being forced to move on. It was during one of his "transitions" that he encountered Naomi alone in the wilds. Being the troubled soul that he was, he took out some of that pent up anger on the stranger - but instead of fighting back, she took the blast head-on, complimented him on his strength and promptly propositioned him. Maple saw the opportunity to gain a powerful pawn (she had shrugged off his attack after all) and accepted the offer. Naomi however, would prove difficult to manipulate. She had an uncanny sense for when she was being used. By the time he realised that it was hopeless, a strange kind of trust had developed between the two dragons and he settled into clan life properly. He developed the magic technique used to keep the Coatl's nesting sites heated. During an incident where the lair was attacked his wings were burned and he can no longer use this magic. Plundered goods await you. |
