Wyrenthoen is one of the oldest guardians (and dragons) of the clan. His main task is to guard the Hoard and the Vault, and he took the additional task of being the inventory keeper of the clan. Wyren literally sleeps in the front of the hoard: nothing comes in or leaves the storage area without his knowledge.

Behind the great doors of the Hoard, from the rooms and halls full of things and beings, to the lower levels of the Vault, is Wyren’s realm. He has helpers and minions of dragons, beastclans and constructs, but he is the one in charge. Everything has to be in order, and it is not very rare to see the cold and calm iceberg to lose his temper because some scatterbrained Arcanite left trinkets in the wrong coffin. Then the only way to diffuse the situation is to put everything to their right place and check that there’s a right amount of everything as well. He has calmed over time, accepting that you just have to live with it. Watch Golems in the Hoard help as well.

Wyrenthoen is especially strict about food: the clan has to have a set amount of food both available and in the Hoard. The dictates have driven some of the gatherers to refuse to deal with Wyren, but he means well. Wyrenthoen has never elaborated on the matter on public, but his closest friends know that his Search was not an easy one. There is not much to eat on the cold plains of the Icefield.

With others Wyren is cold and distant, preferring to keep his emotions for himself. While many guess his charge to be behind the great doors of the Vault, Wyrenthoen’s charge is actually Theria, his mate. He just trusts that Theria can take care of herself and does not need watching.
