B I O G R A P H Y

Survine is a first generation Imperial, who found himself travelling across the Ashfall Wastes soon after the Flamecaller had claimed the territory for her people. Survine is a traveler and a seasoned tactician, finding himself in the eyes of the Matriarch Ash when she, too, encountered the Emberglow hearth for the first time. He is a kind soul who cares deeply for the well-being of his clan, helping to form it and the fire flight's growth through the times. He was once the original owner of a Golden Idol, and many nights he would spend with it as they discussed the future of Sornieth.

With the coming of the beastclans and the uprising of the other flights, however, matters had to be taken into accord and both he and the matriarch had to come to an agreement; for the future of the fire flight, they would sell their most precious treasures to prove successful at Dominance and prove their loyalty to the Flamecaller, whom they know as the Flamemother. Survine and Ash parted with their companions as they left to forge new bonds, and as such secured trade routes among other flights enough to secure victory against the beastclans. During the fight, Survine found solace with his mate Sunburst, an Imperial from the nearby water flight, and produced many kin to explore the world of Sornieth.

Now that times have calmed and there is a steady peace on Sornieth, Survine was troubled with the lack of need his clan had of him. There were less hatchlings to entertain in the evenings on the hearth, less curious ears to hear his tales from his travels. Even Sunburst had moved on to secure fishing spots for the increase in seafood eaters in the Clan of Rekindling, leaving Survine without much purpose. He one day came across a plague nocturne named Sunshine, her aqua colors shining brilliantly off her amber scales and Survine once again, fell deeply in love. With his newfound mate and his trusty golden bantam fangar, he chalked up life to being fruitful after an age of discord. Until one day, he got a visit from one of his descendants... His great great great great great great great great grandson, to be exact... An adorable Wildclaw named Sandmint. Having never received word from any of his descendants before, Survine was immediately attached and the two often meet up, sharing stories and a bond that Survine never thought he would recover.

B I O G R A P H Y

Sandmint helped Survine realize that there was more to the world than he originally knew, a gem of knowledge that his greatx8 grandson had given him. He began to see the world anew, and not be lost to the ages of old, making sure to strive ever forward from now on. He had a few mates to appease and strengthen the fire flight, but once again, a beautiful first generation water dragon came into sight. Mahreina... A golden sunset, walking out of the Spiral keep, and Survine was once again, deeply and irrevocably in another kindled romance.

Mahreina was kind and saw Survine's broken heart, and she often brought him to the Spiral Keep to use the power of water to soothe it and show him that not all magic was destructive. With Sandmint's help, and assisted courage, Survine courted Mahreina until she was ready, and now she has joined the Clan of Rekindling as an irreplaceable healer. Their first clutch was a near miracle; 5 eggs, something Survine had never had in a clutch before.

It was a miracle. Four clutches in a row, Survine and Mahreina had 5 eggs nesting in each one. Survine's broken heart was truly healed as he finally accepted himself as leader and face of the clan. Despite his struggles, he is still the kind, gentle soul that he was when he was young and spry, although his favorite spots to rest are around the large vaults of magma in the Great Furnace.
