ROLE: Clan Mother

PERSONALITY: Quiet, but friendly and bright towards those who cross her path.

Proteja was born to a small clan of guardians of the Wind Flight. She remembers little of her family or siblings, but she knows she was happy there.
Inevitably, when the golden dragon came of age, she left to go on The Search.
For 5 years she traveled, traversing all of the Flightlands. It was when she was sheltering with an Ice Flight clan that she met Nip, her familiar. The little spirit bird was lost on his way to the Icewarden. Unable to move, the hummingbird traveled with the guardian until he was strong enough to carry on. He's never left her side.
Her adventures eventually brought her back to the steppes of home. It was there she came across a pack of mirror's gallivanting about the plains. One look at the young, deep green male was all the guardian needed to know that he was the one she was supposed to protect. Needless to say, Calator was not pleased to be the subject of this great beast's nature, now unable to travel with his birth pack. When the pack left them, the mirror was so distraught that Proteja openly considered hunting them down and massacring them.
It took several years for the two to accept each other as friends, and even longer to accept each other as mates, but now they have a beautiful family and a budding clan.

Proteja loves all of her children, adopted or otherwise and treats all of the species in the clan equally. She loves nothing more than wandering the ranks and chatting to all of her extended family, reading letters and listening to songs told to her.
