World's greatest punishment is not being able to talk
When there's someone who can not listen to you Screaming for the name, but no one can hear your pain Despair and sadness will take a control over you - Silence by Catamenia |
.....
Feosta's deaf and can't hear or speak. For her it's only silence. She seems to hate most things. And she can make awful noises or snarl if she wants to. She's not afraid of anything, also she's a good warrior, but chooses her own side to fight on. And she does if it pleases her. No one can tell her what to do. Not that she can hear you anyways.
Feosta somehow found the Clan of the Fallen Trees. Svarog found her near his secret treasure, but he accepted her. He speaks no word to her, but they seem to really like each other. She likes to poison her enemies. | ....... |

Podid Kirkyard
A small paw-ed pair of dragons, Feosta and Svarog, moved into a grim lair to seek their fortune. They planned to raise their nestlings in the The Abiding Boneyard and hoped their lives would be good ones. One night their beloved Emerald Webwing was stepped on by a visiting Guardian and died.
Their hatchlings were very angery, but a dragon of a nearby liar showed them a special place where locals had built green shrines to their departed familiars: a Podid Kirkyard. |

The next morning was misty and rainy. The dragons saw shadows and shapes in the fog, when out stepped their very own dear Emerald Webwing! Each night it would disappear again and each morning it would return to the lair. At first everything seemed normal, but then the familiar began to act strangely and dangerous. It even tried to bite one of the hatchlings. Feosta led the familiar far into the Scarred Wasteland and left it to live in the wild. The dragons missed their familiar and so they chose a Animated Statue as there own. It lived with them for only a week when it was crushed in a rock fall. Then they invited a Spoiling Scorpio for their lair but within a week it had drowned in a flood. They began to suspect supernatural powers were behind the accidents. Hoping to break the curse, they asked the Gladekeeper's druids for help. The druids recommended adopting a Smokebillow Sham, who was known for bringing good luck and banishing dark magics. For a while the family lived in peace. One night Svarog was stepped on by a wandering Emperor and died. Filled with grief Feosta carried them to the Podid Kirkyard and buried them in the soil. They prayed to the Gladekeeper that their mate could return to them somehow. When Feosta returned home, Svarog was already there. At first everything seemed back to normal. Feosta wondered if it had all been a bad dream, but then Svarog began to change. Their snout lengthened and their scales began to turn a strange blue color. They grew thick fangs that overhung their chin like a crocodile's. Fur grew from their chest and armpits. Their tail developed short spikes and their wings shrank down to tiny stumps. "Something terrible has happened to you," said Feosta to Svarog. "I think I have made a sad mistake." |
|
|
Svarog seemed confused. "Terrible? I wondered why you were looking more and more like me each day. I thought it was a gift of the Gladekeeper." "Looking like you?" wondered Feosta. They stared down at their long black claws and thick blue digging paws. They had also changed... The hatchlings moved to a neighboring lair when their parents disappeared. Dragons in the area searched for months but no sign of Feosta or Svarog were ever found. Over time the abandoned lair fell to ruin, home only to an old pair of podids and a ragged Emerald Webwing. |
