Not much is known about Ravonor; he keeps mostly to himself, occasionally whispering about serious matters with Cerestes. He doesn't talk much and often speaks in a low, quiet baritone that everyone somehow manages to hear even when there's a havoc. He owns no sense of humour, and two expressions - blankness and anger.

When Ravonor had been hatched, the tengu he now owns - Kashira - had come from the wilderness of the Beast Clans, and bowed before his little self, still blowing bubbles from his nostrils in fascination. Kashira had told his parents that Ravonor hosted the soul of the Everseer - a well-known prophet, often said to be at a deity's level in terms of power.

By the tengu's words, his clan of that time treated him like a king. They gave him anything he wanted, and in exchange, he was to stay safe by his parents' side, protected by two of their greatest warriors for every tick of the clock, all under the supervision of Kashira.

As Ravonor grew up, his power began to consume him, spiralling out of control. Often he would wake from a nightmare, often 'memories' of previous Everseers. He would get blackouts in broad daylight, waking up miles away from home, surrounded by newly charred trees of the Gladekeeper's domain.

He lost his joy. He found he couldn't smile and laugh effortlessly any more, only feeling exhausted and just done with everything. His parents were worried, of course, but nothing they did could cheer him up. And with that, he picked himself up and did as the creator of Spirals did: he travelled Sornieth, following the currents of the wind.

After years of travel, Ravonor settled in the clan of Kaeiz, serving under the Alpha. No one really knows why he chose the growing clan to serve for, but whatever the reason, nobody quite seems to mind. One thing that bothers the others, however, is the spiral's lack of loyalty to his birth, as he often calls himself to be arcane-borne instead of his true element of shadow.
