Cressida met some dragons from the Sunbeam ruins for the first time during the Wavecrest Saturlina. She knew then, that she couldn't spend the rest of her life in the Starfall Isles.
When she touched down on the promenade of the Sunbeam Ruins for the first time if felt like home. She was thrilled to find her cousin Aurelius already there, and reunite with the dear friend Avriel she'd met at the festival.
Waverly welcomed her into her clan, and she settled in quickly as a hatchery assistant. Her duties included helping the nesting parents tend their nests and then caring for hatchlings after they've hatched so the parents can eat. Often nest sizes out number the parents who've hatched them, and little hatchlings can be mischievous and sometimes misplace themselves.
Since she met Zouge, the two have been inseparable. When they decided to commit to each other most of the clan was thrilled, except Durren, who was hoping to court Cressida himself.
