╰━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━╯Sae is a name that the sentient shade gave itself eons ago and it sees itself less and less as its brethren, but something more. It's deeply attached with its decomposing body and it lives deep in the leviathan trench amongst its ancestors. However, recently, it has swam away from the trenches, but only for the sake of its only child; Glaucus. Sae is mostly quiet, slow in speech, and tentative in interactions with other dragons that isn't just strictly hunting and eating. Despite his silence and reserved nature, he's very curious about dragon culture and could be swayed from eating another dragon if they offered information he has not yet learned. ╭━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━╮
Early Years
╰━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━╯Who the dragon was prior to infection and subsequent death is unknown. Sae has been in this form for a few centuries. He's tired of being a shade, not ready to grow out of his shell and become a leviathan, and so he's going through a phase in his life. This become more concrete once he found a drowning hatchling and decided to save his life. ╭━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━╮

╰━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━╯A part of his shade is inside Glaucus serving as a makeshift esophagus and lung. It's a small fraction of his form, however it allows him to feel the hatchling's heartbeat from miles away. He knows when he's doing fine and when he's in danger. ╭━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━╮

╰━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━╯There is a trench not too far away from one of their preferred dens with a persistently stubborn sea dragon that refuses to emerge from it's dark recesses. Despite his consistent check ups and words of encouragement, she refuses to leave and is incredibly rude. He feels that her inability to adhere to his commands of "Leave the Darkness and Come Here so I can Rip the Scales from Your Body and Consume your Meat" is a true reflection of her poor character. ╭━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━╮

I didn't name this boy. My friend was getting rid of some dragons very early on when I first was getting used to Flight Rising, and I saw this boy and was like "I must have him".
So...she let me have him.
Sae is an underwater shade sea monster controlling the very large, very dead, imperial. And, yes, I know that technically a dead imp is a dangerous imp, but consider this; No.
According to my friend and a quick google search; his name means Sea-King.
