“Elodin proved a difficult man to find. He had an office in Hollows, but never seemed to use it. When I visited Ledgers and Lists, I discovered he only taught one class: Unlikely Maths. However, this was less than helpful in tracking him down, as according to the ledger, the time of the class was ‘now’ and the location was ‘everywhere.’”

Elodin proved to be an unconventional wildclaw the day he set foot in clan territory. He introduced himself as a scholar and asked Dagon if he could run some tests. No one would be injured, of course. The clan leader agreed.

“Tests” turned out to be less meddlesome than some anticipated. How many stones can you hold in one hand, Elodin would ask. What do you think is the ideal wind temperature for flying. How many colors does a fire have. And similar. For two years, Elodin asked for nothing more than the peculiar questions, apparel scraps nobody wanted to wear and, as he put it, meat that looks weird. Eventually, he was asked to assist Insomniac with the Golem Workshop, and both his personality and natural Disorient ability warranted useful with the fae’s talents.
