Felix is sort of a genius. He's very dedicated to his research, sometimes too dedicated, often forgetting to eat and sleep. He's very paranoid about others trying to steal his work.
The only dragon Felix feels close to is Alexa, and although other clan members may try, Felix still has a very hard time socializing with others. Something about his past has caused him to form a great deal of distrust in others. Alexa has tried to get it out of him, but he has yet to reveal very much.
Although Felix rarely leaves his own confines, he still proves useful to the clan due to his scavenging for parts and such. It's not that he is just useful either- Felix has also been deemed too dangerous if he were to join a rival clan by Jericho. Bathin assures everyone that Felix could leave if he so pleased, but many clan members still side with Jericho.
A dragon with that much knowledge could become the clan's biggest threat if fallen into the wrong claws.
It's rumoured that Felix created his familiar, Spectrum, but he neither confirms nor denies it.

Felix was kidnapped at a young age by an small group of dragons who saw his intelligence as a resource. He was made to create terrors against his will for most of his life. Refusal to co-operate was met with being "volunteered" to be tested on. One such occasion caused his eyes to be damaged. Slowly he is losing his sight in his right eye, the left has stopped it's deterioration, but is near useless.
About a year before his eventual escape, he became very close with a dragon named Vera, and they had planned to live together after they were "let free".
The head of the group assured Vera, that had she created one more monstrosity, they would let her go. Vera didn't have it in her to create anymore, so Felix stepped in for her in secret.
Felix created a new creature, it resembled a fairy or an imp, strangely.
The night that Vera would have been let go, they were going to meet to celebrate, but before it could be done, tragedy struck. Felix's creation had been released, and it killed Vera. Felix heard Vera's screams, but he was too terrified to come to her aid. He knew it was too late to save her, and had to wait for it to come for him, while he listened to her screams gurgle into silence. The "Fairy" was Felix's most terrifying creation. It was intelligent, and felt no alignment. Not to it's creator, not to anything or anyone but itself. The "Fairy" kills it's victims by assimilating their body into it's own, while the victim is still conscious. It's skin oozes an acidic paste when brought in contact with living tissue. Once this process has started it cannot be stopped. The creature has genetic memory, meaning that if you kill one iteration of it, the others will remember you.
Felix put on his safety gear and hid behind a pillar, and was able to kill this iteration of the creature by surprise using a surgical knife.
Once again, Felix had lost everything. Motivation to really do anything dropped, and it was becoming dangerous. Jericho, was a wolf among sheep in a sense, brought in as another "scientist". Jericho took a liking to Felix and helped him escape.
Jericho has asked Felix to join the SLAYERS many times, but he has yet to accept. For now, Jericho has assigned Alexa to watch over him.
