P E R S O N A L I T Y

______Subfuscous would think herself a simple kind of Mirror. She wants for very little, enjoys the warmth of the desert, and the shade on her back after a long day in the sun. She also very much enjoys being left alone, and likes to walk rather than run (in contrast to most of the Mirrors she knows). Some consider her frigid, which isn't incredibly wrong, but the long and short of it is more that she tires easily of social interactions and will not hesitate to excuse herself when she feels she's done.
______Despite this, there is one type of social interaction that never ceases to entertain her: Barganing, trading, selling, and all that comes with it. She cannot stand to make small talk, but she absolutely can haggle for an hour over a price. In general, she's likely to give a good deal if she's treated nicely. And just as likely to swindle a dragon out of their money if she's not.
______Despite a small gaggle of children (most of whom succumbed to breathrot or left to serve other deities), she has no mate and isn't particularly interested in taking one. However, she cares deeply for Tatterdemalion, her daughter, and Cirsium, her grandson. They have very little in common, but they are family nonetheless and she does everything in her power to keep them safe and healthy.

H I S T O R Y

______In the early days of the clan, before its change to the Order, Subfuscous was just another hunter-type. She liked it alright, but the cooperation part was never her strong suit and it really showed. Instead of actively hunting, she ended up in a position where she just kept track of the comings and goings of the clan's food supply.
______As the clan grew, this responsibility did too. Though there were many highs and lows of the Order's history, she maintained this position throughout it all. She came to manage the hoard, and soon the vault. The hoard is now located at the Agriden, heavily guarded and all meticulously categorized over many years by Subfuscous. The vault is in a secure location somewhere in the Shifting Expanse, but only she, the General, and the Captains know where it is. While the hoard holds funds and items necessary for immediate access, the vault holds the Order's most valuable items.
______Though there are many individual merchants at the Agriden now, Subfuscous handles purchases and payments to the hoard directly.
______Like all dragons that were in the Tempest Order during the Death Era, a symbol of the Tempest Order can be seen burned into her right shoulder.

HOARD BASED

Food

Meat and Fish. Any kind of meat (and fish!). It's mostly a meme at this point that I can't feed my clan -- the thing in my signature is for laughs these days, a remnant of my newbie times. I'm not routinely getting over 1k in meat or fish or anything (much less staying above that), but every time I hit 0 I just grind/gather for more and it hasn't been a problem. That said, I will always appreciate food donations for the pack! They are a ravenous bunch.

Art! I love love love getting art of my dragons. The general rule is that anyone with a name is free game, hibden very much included! Any kind of art you want to do is happily accepted, even a five second doodle of one of my murder pups will earn my eternal love. I'm also open to art trades~

Here's a unique thing I'm always after!: Word-Based Names!
The majority of my clan is named using words from the dictionary! It started as a way to expand my vocabulary, but lorewise a dragon's name will often determine things about their future or comment about their past! I ALWAYS need new word names, so if you ever want to say thank you or gift bomb me, dropping all your favorite words on me absolutely qualifies!
