Expectation ripples from her like a tide. A resonantly regretful and knowing pause between you and the dragon as she eyes her heart in your hands. You are plump with sin.

Morgane's clan moves along the boundaries of Wind lands, sometimes venturing further out to the lands of Light and Earth.

However she does not seek a charge or mate. Her charge is already by her side, a mirror who once was her enemy. Her mate is an imperial female, and although they could never bear hatchlings together, they both consider Shore, Morgane's daughter by another, to be theirs.

She seeks knowledge, she seeks a life beyond bamboo constraints. But most of all, she seeks to form a tribe that celebrates all flights, a place of true neutrality, proof that peace is possible.

A lofty aspiration. One which continues to elude her, and one which she may not complete.

Morgane is under attack, after an attempted takeover by members of the clan, she had beem wounded with claws and magic. Thought she survived, she knew that they would attack again.

Desperate to keep herself alive, she asked for a shattered construct. Not one that would be built after her death, but one built before. Housing half her soul, a safety net.

She would be reincarnated as a Shattered Construct should anything go wrong.

At first a guardian on her quest, traversing the lands in search of her charge. She knew it when she saw it; a female mirror sprinting towards her with claws outstretched.

Veil had ripped her shoulder to shreds before she realized the guardian had simply not retaliated.


Fear has driven her further. Now she is powerful.
