Personality:
Chao is very friendly, optimistic, and outgoing. He tries to be very forward thinking, but sometimes gets hung up on tradition. For example, although he believes in equality for all dragonkind, he still finds solid grayscale dragons a bad omen and politely keeps his distance. He does not care who he mates with, but if the offspring are on the color grayscale, he will not breed with the mother dragon again.
His best friend is Boysenberry. When Chao and Boysenberry spend time together, they are always smiling. They love each other dearly. Occasionally, they nest together, but it is by no means an exclusive relationship.
Boysenberry has been away for a very long time, and while he knows they feels passionate about their mission, he misses them greatly.
Chao loves his children and grandchildren more than anything in the world, even if they are grayscale, and often visits the ones that have moved out of the clan. He misses the ones that have gone on to serve a higher calling to the deities, but he feels proud that they have found such a great purpose in life.
He is close friends with Hibiscus and Filbert and godfather to Ranginald.
