Isyrion
The Incinerator

Isyrion is one of the clan's foremost battle mages, second to Kairani, his mate. Although the small fae might not inspire fear in the hearts of larger dragons, he is by no means to be underestimated. What he lacks in stature, he makes up for in power, tenfold. His fire magic is strong enough to bring down an imperial thirty times his size. He takes a sadistic delight in battle, burning his foes with no regard for mercy. He enjoys using his magic to give his fires fearsome shapes, frightening his enemies as the blaze rushes upon them with massive jaws and reaching claws of flames, like an angry living creature bent on devouring them. In a way, it is, or at least an extension of one who would do just that if he could. When he works together with Kairani, their power seems to increase exponentially, and they can create towering infernos hot enough to melt an unwary fighter's armor.

Outside of battle, no one would ever guess at Isyrion's vicious side. Unlike his sharper mate, he's very polite and soft spoken, never with a harsh or disagreeable word. Even though fae speak entirely in monotone, which can make it hard to judge their temper, Isyrion manages to make his amiable nature evident, his words chosen to be pleasant, his fins canted at a respectful angle. His good manners and thoughtful speech often lead dragons to believe that he is a scholar or a diplomat. He's even rather scholarly anyway, although not to the degree his mate is. However, those who've seen him on the battlefield aren't fooled, and no matter how agreeable he seems, it's quietly agreed that to anger him would be unwise.
