Biography
||The Pure Omen||
Kicked out of her clan upon hatching due to her poor plumage Vietor was immediately brought in to join the ranks of a clan that knows better than to believe Coatl superstition. As the Windswept Plateau shares a small boarder with the Starfall Ilse and there are quite a large number of wind flight dragons in the clan it wasn’t long before one of them found her wondering the plains on her own and brought her home.
While some are taken by surprise to see a Coatl of this colour as most are so shunned by their peers they either die out or hide themselves. Vietor has slowly come to accept herself and is considered by the clan to be the yin to Nocni’s yang as their colours are perfect opposites, even their flights are seemingly perfectly different. She is often found gliding through the air over the den, blending into the sky and clouds. Vietor is the leader of the day watch and sends a powerful gust of wind to the mouth of the den to warn fellow members subtly that there might be something untoward nearby, there is a wind chime near the mouth of the den made of bamboo similar to the suit she wears so if anyone hears it chime Koboltti tends to be the first one out to aid her.
New Coatls to the clan can sometimes threaten to leave if Vietor is going to stay, hatchlings are raised to know better but there have been several stand offs between older Coatls that even the All-Mother has intervened, saying that if they want to stay they must learn to accept her and if they won’t then they are free to leave. Some have decided to leave but others have reluctantly learned to accept her, this clan is all about accepting each other for who they are no matter what.
In her down time Vietor likes to make her own wind chimes, the one at the mouth of the lair is her own design. Her den is completely full of them that if she wakes up late for a shift everyone knows about it as she clattered into each and every one of them on her what out. Recently she has decided to start selling them but due to her position as guard she gives them to Vito so he can take them to the trading post and sell them alongside his leather goods and he gives her the profits which she often uses to buy more strange things to make chimes out of. The All-Fathers favourite is one made from crystals which he keeps by his den entrance, this fills Vietor with pride.
