Hymn is a gentle and somewhat timid dragon, who spend much of her time obsessively re-writing the now molding, fading tomes of the clan's oldest library. Although the Dryads Rest have other libraries, this one, which was struck hard and waterlogged by a storm, is the oldest and contains the most sensitive information regarding the clan. Old magic books, records of dragons who have come and gone, historical documents, and of course all of their receipts. Thanks to this, Hymn is somewhat of a walking, breathing library at this point, although her great knowledge appears to have been jumbled and scrambled up a lot, and she quite often mixes up what she read, and where.

She is the primary scribe and record-keeper of the clan, and loves a good tune to help her unwind after a hard day's work. What little waking time she DOESN'T spend in her library. she spends singing or listening to the songs around the fires at night. She is gifted with a beautiful voice, as smooth and clear as glass, but despite Abigail's occasional request for her to change her job and become a singer for the tavern guests, Hymn is too obsessed with her current work to have any of that.
