At face value, Oblivion is a complete jerk. He's often arrogant, vain, and sometimes downright rude to his fellow clan mates. Some of the other members of the Starlit Hearth refer to him as the prince, because of how spoiled and self-absorbed he can act. Though, that's not all there is to him. If you can manage to bear with him for a long enough time to see through his rough outer shell, he's actually a rather sweet dragon on the inside. Most dragons don't care enough to get that close to him in the first place, though. He does in fact have reasons for acting the way he does, however, and only the dragons who are closest to him know why.

When he was a young dragon back in his home clan located in the Sunbeam Ruins, Oblivion was the brightest and most friendly thing there was. Ironically, the nickname that he earned himself in the Starlit Hearth wasn't that far off from his previous position in his home clan. His mother and father just so happened to be the queen and king, making Oblivion a prince.

He found himself with many of the other members wanting to be his friend when he was growing up, and this couldn't have made him happier as a young dragon. Though, as he got older, he began to see his "friends" for what they were. As a prince, they were only interested in his status and wealth, hoping they could get something out of him by pretending to want only his company. This turned the once cheerful coatl into the cynical dragon he is today.

Now, Oblivion is extremely suspicious of others who want to get close to him, even though no one now even knows about his old status as a prince. His old sweet and compassionate self isn't completely gone, however. For the dragons he deems sincere about wanting to get close to him, he doesn't mind letting his real personality shine through to them.

Currently, Oblivion is working as the clan's mortician alongside his mate, Lucid who helps him with the job. He's one of the few members of the Starlit Hearth who doesn't mind getting their claws dirty; especially with something like death.
